Our client has an immediate position for a Senior Marine Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for the design, construction and commissioning of industrial, commercial and recreational marine facilities and infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity for you to lead a small team of technologists and engineers, supported by our coastal engineering, geotechnical and environmental specialists. You will provide conceptual, preliminary and detailed design, contract administration and project management services related to new port facilities, and retrofits and repair to existing facilities. You will have opportunities to work on projects located in BC, the northwestern US and the Canadian north.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a structural engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience in marine infrastructure engineering, with a combination of practical design and project management expertise, and related office and field experience. You must be able to occasionally travel to projects across Western and Northern Canada. Experience with the design and construction of northern ports and harbours would be an asset. As a minimum, you must have a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized university. You also must be eligible for registration with APEGBC, be legally entitled to work in Canada and possess a valid driver's license
